Adventures in Minneapolis, Part 1

One of my favorite things we do every summer when visiting our families in Minneapolis, is go to the U of M's Arboretum, just west of the Twin Cities. I took some fun shots of just a few of things we got to see.... Dahlia's the size of dinner plates! Sorry this waterfall is sideways! It cascades down with bridges crossing it a various places. Perfectly cool in the shade.
One of my favorites. They built this 'house' out of logs and sticks; outfitting the inside with natural furniture and decorations. Wouldn't this be fun to have in your garden?
The kids' favorite... a maze made out of various evergreens and shrubbery. This picture only shows a portion of its size. They ran around in there for an hour.
Three oak leaf swinging chairs...
It was a great rest stop for everyone. We grabbed snacks in the Arboretum's lodge and even after a few hours had barely touched upon one-half of what there was to see. ( I highly recommend the 3-mile drive too!)
