Bar Stool Renovation

A quick renovation for a friend turned into one of my most favorite before and afters.

These cushions had seen a lot of wear and were ready to be switched out. They were from kitchen counter bar stools. The base was an oblong wood form with sturdy foam and soft batting giving it structure. The piping encircles the base as the cushions rest in the bar stool frame, giving it a very finished look.

This gorgeous fabric from Calico Corners really added an up to date look on the chairs. The fabric's stripes are in a grey and beige and off white and the material was beautiful to sew and work with.

Here are the four cushions all ready to go to their home!

The finished product. Really thrilled at its clean polished look. A very nice finish in a beautiful home.
