Always up for a challenge, I was recently asked to tackle a recovering project for an entry way.
My designer friend wanted to recover her settee cushion with upholstery webbing.
I think it turned out magnificently!
The biggest challenge was figuring out how to have the weaving of the webbing hold together. I learned that by weaving a large portion of webbing, then ironing a fusible woven backing to that portion of webbing it would hold together tightly enough to let me sew a cris-cross pattern of stitches... pulling it all together.
Love the pattern, texture and uniqueness of this! Very fun!
